In case your driver has made a mistake in the process of delivering orders there is a way for a dispatcher to correct it from the dashboard. To do this follow the procedure below:
Step 1. Create an editor's account with the right to edit completed orders. For this purpose go to Settings -> Users. You can either expand the existing users' rights by clicking the Edit Item button or create a new User (with the Dispatcher role) by clicking the + Add button empowered to edit completed orders and change statuses. Enter the user's name, e-mail, and password. Make sure you tick the box Allow edit completed orders.
Step 2. Log into Track-POD under the editor's account. Find the order you want to edit either on the dashboard using Track-POD global search or in the Analytics tab, right-click on this order.
Select Edit Order if you need to edit the planned values in the completed order, e.g. goods, goods quantity, and price, contact name, etc.
Select Edit Order Status if you want to change the completed order status, date, recipient's name, cash on delivery amount.
You can allow or deny Updates from the mobile app, i.e. if you assign a certain status to the order before the driver completes the route it in the mobile app and allow accepting updates the update from the mobile app will override your changes once a driver delivers this order.
In the example below the completed order has the Not delivered status, with the reason for rejection "Cancelled".
Let's change the order status to Partially delivered, with 10 packages rejected because they are the wrong type, and add the recipient's name to the order. Click Save.
Now your order status has been changed.
You can track the history of order changes if you right-click on the order and select View History. You will know who changed the order status and when.
You can easily edit completed orders and their statuses in the Analytics tab following the same procedure.
It's also possible to edit a completed order from the admin (owner) account.
